Cast and Blast

The dog day cicadas are singing their tunes which means that fall is just around the corner.  The end of summer means the beginning of fall fishing and dove hunting.
During Cast and Blast you can spend the morning fishing for trout and redfish, then in the afternoon you can go dove hunting.  Fall fishing is great in Baffin Bay waters, and South Texas is a favorite feeding, watering and nesting place for doves.
SEASON DATES:
Whitewing Dove is a very short zoned season --- September 5-6 and September 12-13.
Mourning Dove season begins September 18 and goes through November 3rd.

Capt. Bennie,
After a number of years fishing I have found out that about 90% of catching real fish on tackle depends on how good the guide does his job.
You did well.
Thanks and tight lines.
